I cannot say enough or anything, for that matter, that is going to make the grief go away. But this I can tell you…I lost someone that I could never in all my life have been prepared to lose almost five years ago. The pain is still here, every day. But I have learned to pay attention to the little things. I know your family, though it has been several years since we last saw each other. I know you are believers in Christ. I myself am a spiritual person and I truly and fully, with all of my heart, believe that God lets little things happen that remind me that the spirit of the person that meant so much to me sometimes reaches out to me. I just feel it. I know he is in God’s arms. He loved Him so much. Courtney loved the Lord too and she loved everyone here. Her presence will always linger, though sometimes it may take some quite time for just you and her to sit in silence. But if you believe it, you will feel it. I just wanted to share this with you. Some people may call me crazy or even a Jesus freak but I don’t care. I in fact don’t even have a home Church at the moment. But I still believe in God’s blessings. I know what He is capable of and I know how He sends that peace and calm that I so desperately need at times and it feels just like my loved one wrapping his arms around me, silently telling me that it’s going to be ok. It is a feeling like no other. May God bless you during your time of grief and may you always be able to rest assured that Courtney is in God’s hands and she is watching over you all. She wouldn’t want you to be sad or unable to move forward. She would smile that big beautiful smile and tell you that it’s alright, that everything may be different now but it’s going to be ok. This is only temporary for those of you who believe. When Christ returns, we’ll all be reunited. Never forget that. It’s what gets me through each and every day. My thoughts of love go out to you all…God bless.

My wife and I were so impressed with Courtney when she waited on us at Pizza Hut recently. We talked about her for days about how bright, hard working and beautiful inside and out she was. Met her once but will never forget her. Amazing young lady.

Courtney became one of my favorite and most memorable orthodontic patients I ever had, with her sweet southern twang and a bow in her hair almost bigger than her head. I had the honor to know her, she blessed many with her charm and will not be forgotten . You’ll be the brightest star in the sky with a bow xoxo

My heart goes out to this family. I lost my daughter almost 11 months ago in a head-on collision with a logging truck. Words cannot express the sympathy that I feel for you. Remember all the happiness and joy that Courtney brought to your lives, and this alone will help bring you peace in the days to come. You now have another Angel watching down on you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Praying for the family; cannot imagine what they must be going through. Could giving details of the accident possibly help other young drivers avoid an accident? There are so many accidents involving young people in our area.

This tragic news is so sad. We didn’t personally “know” this beautiful-sweet young lady, but she was our waitress not too long ago @ Pizza Hut and we were talking and joking with her, telling her that she reminded us a lot of Kelly Pickler with the way she spoke and her personality. She certainly made an impact on us in just one visit, so I can only imagine how distraught her family & friends are to have lost her. Praying for all those who are heart broken and grieving for her. Heaven gained another ANGEL!

Courtney will be missed by everyone she came in contact with. She was a genuine southern beauty inside and out. She is one of the rare ones that you just loved being around. Her smile was infectious and her sweet southern drawl was charming to say the least. I will always cherish the moments that I’ve spent with her since she was a small child. I will miss you Courtney for a short time, but we will see each other again. Her mother and family will be in my prayers.
