Cantonment Man Arrested On Federal Meth And Weapons Charges

April 5, 2016

A Cantonment man wanted by federal authorities on drug and weapons charges is behind bars.

Keith Terrill Prim, age 30 of Stacey Road, was taken into custody Monday at an apartment complex off University Parkway. He is facing charges of distribution of over 50 grams of methamphetamine, five counts of distribution of methamphetamine over five grams, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Prim made his first appearance in federal court in Pensacola Monday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Charles J. Kahn, Jr.

He is due back before a federal judge on Thursday. In the meantime, he is being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail without bond.

Local authorities, the Gun Crimes Response Team and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives had been searching for Prim for a couple of weeks.  His arrest came after an anonymous tip to his whereabouts was received.

    Margie,
I’m sorry but all of that is not going on down there in that area. Your perception is what you just wrote about and not the actual truth. Maybe it needs to be cleaned up as far as trash but hey that is their business and not yours. How about stopping by there and asking if they need help instead of assuming otherwise. I’m not speaking because I just see them as I pass by but because I know the people in the entire area…

I drive for fedex. Stacey road and quintette area or better yet “the bottom” is trashy for most part. I no people no longer involved with whom sell down there whatever you would like. But as far as the car issue, I have couple cars sitting in “my yard” and until it’s someone else’s, they stay.

margielu, you are a busybody. while I agree that the area could do with a general cleanup of dealers and prostitutes, I don’t agree with your holier than thou attitude. who do u think you are? the yard police? this is America you know. people have the right to own things and store them on their own properties. perhaps you should mind your own business and leave others in their own hands.

margielu u need to stop it. there is nothing like that down there but a family and kids running around. all that drug and prostituting etc is a bunch of lies that u felt like u needed to post to scare readers or make u seem like u kno what u talking about. because u see people standing in there yard doesnt mean crime is going on. stop riding by staring at them and accusing. that family of wrong doing

I pity MargieLu I know how she feels, It ought to be legal to be able to go out shooting when you see a drug deal go down in your neighborhood.

Thank God! Now, now come back to Stacey Road and get the rest of them! They’re all trying to find new dope sources and they’re all over the place! We are sick and tired of the drug peddling, meth cooking, drunk driving, dog fighting, and prostituting bunch and we want them ALL gone!! This is a family neighborhood and we beg you to not stop going after these folks who are destroying it! Which sheriff candidate will FINALLY come clean up Stacey Rd at Quintette and other areas if Stacey Rd , for good? McNesby told me personally he’s been after a neighbor of mine for more than 25 years, but it was Sheriff Morgan who finally caught him. Now one of y’all please come clean the trash out again, please! (Including the two “junkyard” neighbors on Stacey Rd who have enough cars, crap and junk in their yards than a dalvage yard!
