Photos: Canada Geese At Lake Stone

March 13, 2016

A rainy Saturday afternoon was a great time for a couple of Canada geese to check out Lake Stone in Century. The park contains the only freshwater lake maintained by Escambia County. NorthEscambia.com photos, click to enlarge.

You can tell by their call that they are from Canada. “Honk honk ay?”

    CONTEMPLATING:
“(“Canadian” indicates that they would have citizenship in Canada.)”

So a Canadian coin has citizenship?
    Canadian lumber?
    Canadian snow?

Let the geese vote and run for office, can’t be much worse than what we have.

    David for goose sufferage

Happy to see them returning in increasing numbers over the last few years to bothe Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. They are beautiful birds.
A minor point: they are actually Canada Geese, not Canadian Geese (“Canadian” indicates that they would have citizenship in Canada.)
