Phillip Ryan Clark

Phillip Ryan Clark, 61, of Berrydale, passed from this life on earth into the arms of His savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 25, 2016.

Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Tice O. C. Clark and Mrs. Nina (McCallister) Clark.

He is survived by his wife, Debby (Lee) Clark of Berrydale; two sons Bryan Scott Clark of Harvest, AL and Patrick Anthony Clark of Pensacola; three grandchildren; two brothers, Rev. David R. (Paula) Clark of Cartersville, GA and Mr. Stephen D. (Glenda) Clark of Semmes, AL; four nieces, Rachael Clark of Cartersville, GA, Rebecca (Jonathan) Akins of Cedartown, GA, and Susan and Roseanna Lee of Milton; three nephews, Stevie and Johnny Clark, and Dwayne Lee of Pell City, AL; uncle, Marvin McCallister of Liberty, TX; a very special great-niece, Lauren Williams; special “nieces”, Tyler Danielle Parker and Angelique Savoie of Berrydale; special “nephews”, Zachary Parker and Nicholas Parker of Berrydale; two very special friends, Tommie Lee and Nolan “Bo” Parker, both of Berrydale; and his “babies” (cats) TJ, Bear, Little Bit, and Socks.

Phillip was a retired interstate truck driver and a member of Berrydale Baptist Church. In his retirement years he wanted to help the community by giving back to the community. His dream was of becoming a hydroponic grower of vegetables. Unfortunately, before making his dream a reality he was called home.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David R. Clark officiating.

Burial was in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrydale.

The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the Jay Hospital Emergency Room personnel, as well as the air ambulance personnel who diligently did their duties.
