Molino Man Arrested On Child Porn Charges

A Molino man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly downloading child pornography.
Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested 51-year old Larry Wayne Putney of 5881 Molino Road on 10 counts of possession of child pornography.
FDLE gents served a search warrant at a residence on Walker Road in Milton where Putney had previously visited. Putney was not at the residence at the time of the search but was later located at his home in Molino. An initial computer forensic review revealed evidence that 10 files of child pornography were downloaded. The files included one image and nine videos that depicted underage boys engaged in sexual performance, according to FDLE.
Putney was booked into the Escambia County Jail on $100,000 bond.
The case was investigated by members of the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force including the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security – Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Pensacola Police Department, Santa Rosa County Sherriff’s Office and the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

@ Molino Jim, I feel no need to kid, I have made only an objective observation, and not demonstrated a subjective opinion.
@ Chris and others. A large part of this is produced in other counties. There was a case a few years ago of a woman in Crestview making some of this using her own child. there was a male who made some ” private” videos with a small child for his own use in this area. @429scj– you have to be kidding. No LEO is going to go that way. Most of the cases are adults wanting to meet young kids and getting caught. The adult is so dumb that they send nude photos and so on to some “kid”. I remember the male teacher who had a 12 year old girl get them a room in Atmore. The 12 year old was a LEO. I questioned then as I still do what grown man would think a 12 yoa female would be able to rent a motel room. He was arrested.

Makes you wonder if the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is hosting a website of such filth to then arrest those that download content.
I hope instead that the person that resides at the residence this creep visited found the files on their computer and turned him in.
$100,000, thats it ? And to think, this punk lived just a short distance east of me. Never have seen him and know all of my neighbors.
If he’s guilty, hopefully he gets what he deserves. Like 429SCJ says, how come we never hear of the pukes who produce this trash getting caught ? I guess their in the big city or overseas.
I feel that it is great that this man was stopped.
I find it strange that I always read of people being arrested for downloading child pornography, but never learn of anyone being arrested for producing this abominable materiel?
