Jeanette Catherine (Mathis) Flagler, 76, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016, in Pensacola. She was born March 31, 1939, in Milton. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife who would help anyone without hesitation. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time  outdoors.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Mary Mathis; brothers, Ernest Mathis, Raymond Mathis, Eddie Mathis, Woodrow Mathis (Betty) and Doyle Mathis; and sister Geneva Manning.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Howard Flagler; her daughters, Rhonda Danyus and Kim Moon (Doug); her son, Gary Flagler; grandchildren, Stephanie Gardner (Chris), Richard Danyus, Ashley Danyus, Douglas Moon (Kharen), Michelle Moon, Ryan Flagler, Darby Flagler and Kelly Flagler; and eight great-grandchildren; and sister,Virginia Stryker; as well as countless nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 4, 2016 from 5 p.m.  until 8 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with interment to follow at Sardis Baptist Cemetery.
