Jay Man Arrested On Multiple Child Porn Counts

A Jay man was arrested Friday on over two dozen child porn charges by agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Ivan Jarrett Hendricks, 47, was charged with 25 counts of possession of child pornography and booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail without bond. His arrest came after FDLE agents executed a search warrant at Hendricks’ residence at 6026 Tractor Trail in Jay on Friday and located a tablet that contained child pornography files.
Files included 25 movies with children as young as four, according to an arrest affidavit. The investigation originated from a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tip that involved the upload of child pornography videos to an unspecified location on December 5, 2015.
The case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, First Judicial Circuit.

I agree that he is a sick individual! I’m very sorry for the experiences that some of you have gone through in your life and I can relate, having experienced the same myself but what does molestation have to do with this case? He wasn’t arrested on child molestation charges it was child pornography charges. I’m in no way trying to say it’s ok since it was only pics/video and not the actual act committed because it’s definitely still very sick and disgusting, just wondering why he’s being labeled a molester. Thankfully, I don’t know him personally even though we are from and currently live in the same small town.
I was molested as a child also. So was my own child. As a human, I understand these comments very well and am inclined to agree with them. As a Christian, I know that mChristian and TheTruth are also accurate. The Bible tells us that ALL who repent and turn their lives over to the Lord will enter into Heaven. It’s a bitter pill for us as humans…but it’s the Truth.

No truer words! If it was THEIR child, they would think completely different. I can say that because my own was a victim if this same act by someone else and now my child is dead. So I say….reap what you sow
He deserves what ever he gets. I was molested as a child. The damage it does to the chi he deserve every bit of torture he will get.i still have nigtmares. So through the book at him. He is a monster. People who are saying a sin is a sin let’s see how you feel if your child is molest your attitude would be different.
Regardless of what he has done, if he repents of his sin he will be forgiven by God. Doesn’t matter what any of us think, or how appalling we think the crime is. Sin is sin, doesn’t matter if it is downloading illegal pictures or downloading music/movies you didn’t pay for. No one can judge the heart of a person, that is left for our Lord’s judgement. The whole point of Jesus dying on the cross is so that we all repent of our sins regardless what that sin is and enter the kingdom of our Father. Not very Christian to think otherwise.

If he repents of this sin in jail he will still go to heaven. To all of you saying he will go to Hell. Sad but true, it’s in the Bible. As for being harassed in jail because he is a pedophile, that’s a fantasy. If he begins to get harassed every day, beat up, shanked or whatever he will be isolated from the population and live a comfortable life for his 10-15 in prison. Anyway, you guys think whatever you want to help you sleep at night. None of you sound very Christian to me. Everyone deserves the Lord’s forgiveness.

I have worked in a jail…they will enjoy you temporarily. However, when you get to the big house, they will thoroughly enjoy you forever, You sick SOB.
it’s a sick sick sick world…with some sick sick sick people in it. To the people who engage children in these acts and perform these acts on children…you are going to burn in Hell..and that is still not punishment enough. And to the sick people like this right here that like to look at it…you are scum…you don’t even deserve your next breath.
This is sickening. Those children suffered for his entertainment. I hope he’s entertained in prison. See how he likes performing.
Good job law enforcement. There are parts missing or broken with people that derive sexual gratification from children. I will gladly donate all bullets necessary to rid him and his kind from the face of the earth
