My son was on the bus when this happened. He said the driver hit them pretty hard, even after clearing the speed bump.
Thank you to our bus driver Julie Countrymann for keeping our kids safe during bus rides, even when things are beyond your control!
I am glad your son is not afraid of car accidents or he would never get to school. School bus accidents are very scary because they carry precious cargo.
REGARDING:
“My child is a car rider because he is so scared of bus accidents because he has seen a few of them, ”
Children are safer inside the internally padded, steel shell of a school bus than in a car.
David for safer children
Crazy. I just don’t understand why people can’t see school busses. Bright yellow, flashing lights. What more is needed, a siren? Glad no one was hurt.
Maybe if they painted the buses bright yellow and put flashing lights on them this wouldn’t happen.
YIKES…..Glad none of the passengers on the bus were hurt.
Mr. Edwards has QUITE the record with Clerk of Court.
How the heck is he still allowed to be driving?
I’m really happy to see the outcome of this case. So many times, there are injuries and loss of life. My child is a car rider because he is so scared of bus accidents because he has seen a few of them, Anyway, I know accidents do happen and like I said, I am happy that this case had a good outcome. Everyone be careful out there and do your best to stay safe. God Bless you all.
