Flood Warning For The Escambia River

A flood warning continues in effect until late Thursday night for the Escambia River near Century.
Late Sunday, the stage was 17.4 feet. Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast. Flood stage is 17.0 feet. The river will continue rising to near 17.5 feet by Tuesday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Thursday evening.
At 17.0 feet, considerable flooding of lowlands will occur.
