Deputies Seek Bank Robbery Suspect

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office released a surveillance photo Tuesday of the man who attempted to rob the Coastal Bank and Trust on University Parkway at Nine Mile Road last week.

The incident occurred about 3:30 p.m. last Friday.

Anyone with information on the crime or the suspect is asked to call the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 436-9630 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

    My first thought is he dyed his beard and hair dark and let it stick out as part of his disguise. Probably shaved and cut by now.

    Guy robs the bank on last Friday.
    Photo is released this Tuesday.
    Why was there this 4 day time lag?
    It seems to my non-LEO self that the Quicker the Public has the information or photos the sooner they can assist in identifying the “alleged suspect”.

    Hope someone knows this dude and turns him into LEO.
