What a loss for the community! Randy, or Charlie as I knew him, was a one of a kind. He, as everyone knew, loved cats. He fed them as much as he could. Some of the stores in town even put up signs threatening to call the police if they caught anyone feeding the cats. WHAT A SHAME!! God put us here on earth to take care of his creatures and Charlie did that to the best of his ability. Maybe some of us should take a lesson from him and do the same when we can. Reach out and provide for these poor animals. If we can’t feed them in town, maybe we should give as much as our hearts tell us to, to our local shelter, who provides care to these animals. If each of us gave a little, it would make a big difference in the lives of these precious animals. To all of Charlie’s family and friends, you are in my Prayers. God Bless All of You.

Randy, as I knew him, has been a friend for many years. No one does yard work better than he did. No one washes vehicles better than he did. He was one of the hardest working men I have ever known. He had incredible strength. Wasn’t much of a talker – wanted you to tell him what you needed done – then go get out of his way and leave him alone. He could be stubborn in a heartbeat – wouldn’t let anyone do anything for him that would make him feel obligated. But, if you needed anything or any kind of help, he was there to physically do whatever he could to make it better. He LOVED cats! Was known in town as the “cat man”. Would spend his first hard-earned money on cat food before he’d feed himself. Got in trouble for feeding cats all around town. No one better fool with his cats! He was gentle, kind hearted, loved his mother, and his sister Jackie that helped him so many times. He’d have his moods. Love/hate moments with everyone from time to time. But, he was good as gold if he liked you. He helped me, Wanda, Linda, many others. Don’t know how we will make it without him. We will so miss you, Randy. There is an old saying: “You don’t miss the water until the well goes dry”. Randy, we already miss you! Our prayers are with your family. You took a piece of our hearts with you. Bye, my friend.
