Two Killed In Early Morning I-10 Crash
December 20, 2015
Two Santa Rosa County residents were killed in a single vehicle wreck early Sunday morning on I-10 near the 19 mile marker.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 32-year old Jaedesilyn Yvette McCray was traveling east on I-10 about 3:15 a.m. when the tires of her 1998 Ford Expedition traveled off the pavement and onto the grass shoulder. She over-corrected and traveled across the eastbound lanes before colliding with a temporary concrete barrier wall and overturning.
McCray and her passenger, 34-year old Brian Jerome Kennedy of Milton, were transported to Sacred Heart Hospital where they were both pronounced deceased. Neither victim was wearing a seat belt.
The accident remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
