December 28, 2015
A vehicle stolen Saturday night in from the Ensley area was recovered after it was wrecked in Cantonment Monday morning.
The owner said the Nissan Juke (pictured top) was stolen out of their yard. It was involved in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 29 and Muscogee Road about 9:15 a.m. Monday, and it also hit a pedestrian crossing signpost.
Witnesses said the driver of the vehicle fled on foot after the crash.
There were no injuries reported.

Can we get the footage from the neighbor who has the car be stolen on Saturday night on video, the whataburger video from where the thieves used the stolen credit card, the shell station video showing the girl, described as wearing shorts, a tank top, red curly hair, tattoo on her face and one on her thigh, getting into a truck after fleeing the scene??? Maybe someone watching the target video on woman who used a stolen credit card and/or the guys robbing the pharmacy may recognize the people who stole a car, used a stolen credit card, wrecked stolen car and then left the scene of an accident!!!! Just a thought
Time to go steal another. That one was probably running low on gas anyway.
David for better people
Nissan is demolished and the truck has a little damage. I want that truck!
For Danny and Willis,
Where does it say they were caught? The article I’m seeing says the driver fled on foot…
Funny
Steal a car, ride around town for a couple days, and only get caught because you run into someone.
Now that’s what I call “car”-ma.
