James W. Bill Robinson

Mr. James W. Bill Robinson, 78, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015, in Atmore.

Mr. Robinson was a native of Atmore, former resident of Newark, NY and resided in Atmore since 1995. Mr. Robinson was in the VFW and American Legion. He was a member of  Brooks Memorial Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy N. Robinson; parents, Ollie and Ethel Robinson; two sisters, Hazel R. Chamberlin and Evelyn Wellnitz; and two brothers, Robert Robinson and Jesse Earl Robinson.

Survivors include his son, Allen Gray Robinson of Pensacola; two step-sons, Gerald Sullivan of Newark, NY and Robert Sullivan of Newark, NY; one daughter, Darlene Robinson Grissett of Pensacola; three step-daughters, Dawn Faulkerson of Newark, NY, Deborah Price of Newark, NY and Cynthia Cruz of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Eddie A. (Linda) Robinson of Mobile; one sister, Kathryn (Charles) Pezent of Jackson, AL; one grandchild; numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a wonderful caregiver, Kim Bright.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 30, 2015, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Heard officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ryan Pezent, DeWayne Robinson, Gerald Sullivan, Tom Cruz, Aubrey Till and Raymond Kinman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sunday school class at Brooks Memorial Baptist Church.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes is in charge of all arrangements.
