Emmajean Snyder

Emmajean Snyder went home to be with the Lord on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2015. She was born on March 5, 1927, in Clendinen, West Virginia and had lived in Cantonment for the past 59 years. She was a faithful member of Gonzalez Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Emmajean is survived by her husband of 69 years, James Snyder; three daughters, Sandra Lawley (Jerry), Rebecca Kendrick, and Sarah Mason (Scott); six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Webb and Sally Neeley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. McCrary and her brother, Joe.

Services will be held at Faith Chapel North on December 31, 2015. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. followed by services 12 p.m. with Pastor Roy Chewning officiating.

Interment will be at Bayview Memorial Cemetary.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gonzalez Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank Covenant Hospice for their loving care, as well as Ashley and Cheryl, her personal caregivers.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home North is in charge of arrangements.
