WOW. I go to this $ General almost daily. Glad no one was hurt. If this guy does, in fact, has a terrible criminal history, and he went in and robbed the store at gunpoint, I totally agree, he deserves a stiff sentence. I, like most ppl that work day in and day out, am sick and tired of these thugs who think they can just walk in with a gun and frighten and sometimes kill a hard working person. I know judges have to follow the laws as it relates to sentencing, but maybe the laws need to be changed for ppl like this thug. Time and time again, they commit crimes only to be sentenced to short sentences or let go because of some loophole. Like they had a terrible childhood, etc. So did a lot of other ppl –but, that is no excuse. This thug is dangerous. I say put him away for a long time.

Bout time the PoPo caught somebody robbing a Robber General. I was beginning to think it was easier than selling crack and being a prostitute on Cervantes and dying of AIDS. Just go rob a Robber General it’s easy pickings

Why are so many people afraid of that dirty 4 letter word, “Work”. I can’t believe it is easier to steal than do the right thing. You do’t have to run and hide after an honest days work. America is losing it moral fiber. God help us all

Well It was awesome that our law enforcement moved so fast, good job. But to the Dollar General Store, I was in there very shortly after this had taken place. The young lady that was in front of a gun at her head was still having to wait on customers. I would hope you see to your employees a little better than this. Praying for this young lady.

    Don’t vote,
He should get a high bond, he needs to stay in jail. Just look at his record.

I visited this store shortly after the robbery was in progress. Deputies were still arriving. Glad they got this dude off the streets. He lived a short distance from the store. How dumb can you be.

How convenient for him that he needed only to travel a half mile to commit this crime.

This is a dangerous individual with several charges of violence and other felonies.
he(according to public records) was repeatedly released on probation only to violate it,the judge better give him some serious time for this or be removed from the bench!!
