Not the first time this guy got in trouble. Search his name on northescambia.com. There’s an article from July 2010.

So you think we should curb our free speech to comment on an open forum because somebody might allow their child or grandchildren to read it. Sounds like boundaries should be set at home instead of ranting how we should feel bad for saying what we think about an article. While you’re at it why don’t you try to see if maybe you can get the media not to report on it either. That way a child can’t read it on the net or see it on tv. Your comment is ludicrous and your spelling is atrocious.

Traumaqueen for good upbring, not misleading our youth and proper English.

Unbelievable. You people are the problem. Sympathy for the devil. If I’m licensed to Carry. most likely a gun lover. Maybe he/she was careless. That gives an idiot the right to enter your vehicle and steal? Sorry sell that bs someplace else. Exactly what’s wrong with this country. I’d rather hear he was shot. Worthless. Now we tax payers pay for his incarceration. Some lives don’t matter.

    >>>>Because your average 8, 9, 10 year old reads NorthEscambia.com? I

You’d be surprised. Many, many do.

@Molino MeMe. Really. Because your average 8, 9, 10 year old reads NorthEscambia.com? If a “parent” being called out on their behavior offends you possibly you are part of the problem

I’m really surprised no one has mentioned the obvious…..LOCK YOUR CARS! Look at the items stolen/recovered – Wallet, designer hand bag, FIREARMS. Yeah I’m blaming the victim! THREE FIREARMS PLUS AMMO FROM ONE OWNER?! In my opinion this is criminal to give access to weapons like this. What do you think happens to these weapons? When you read about shootings in our area, just say thank you to the folks supplying the weapons, leaving them in unlocked cars.

    REGARDING:
“Another one of those ‘responsible gun owners.’”

The only way to be certain you won’t be robbed is to have nothing.
A person who will steal will kill. (He’s already stealing the part of your life you spent earning the money to pay for what he’s stealing.)

This proves the owner needed the gun but that it still wasn’t sufficient. More vigilance was needed to deal with this particular thief. (Assuming he stole and wasn’t framed and falsely accused.)

David for better people, by any means necessary

Just Wondering; Wal-mart spends the money to protect patrons in their stores and parking lots with electronic surveillance, why don’t we afford the same protection to our schools and churches? In this day and time, any money spent on this technology would be well spent.

I wonder is anyone who writes most of the less than intelligble comments and remarks on stories such as these ever drop to think of the impact your need to exercise your right to free speech impacts others? How about how less than intelectual comments about a person’s bad choices makes others, including his or her child to suffer consequences along with the person of bad choices? Sadly, there are many people out there, whose lives are controlled by bad things and sooner or later they must accept the consequences of his/her choice of action. So Take a moment and put yourself inside the frame of any situation that is a result of a bad choice and imagine how you would feel if you 8,9,or 10 year old child or grandchild read your comment – how would you react. As for the school being placed on lockdown or why weren’t parents called – the school wasn’t broken into during the day and at no time is there idication students or faculty were in any danger. Have more faith in the MPES Administration. Rant over

@Frank: “a man identified as McDonald was seen pulling on door handles at Molino Park Elementary during school hours”

This line was added to the story *after* Frank’s comment. It was late in the day before we received the reports and were able to determine if the Molino Park incident happened before, during or after school.
