Fire Destroys Pine Forest Estates Home (With Photo Gallery)

November 8, 2015

Fire heavily damaged a home in the Pine Forest Estates subdivision off Pine Forest Road in Cantonment Saturday night.

Neighbors called 911 to report that they heard an explosion and then saw flames inside the two-story home on Man-O-War Circle. When firefighters arrived, they found the attached garage involved in flames. The garage was a total loss, but firefighters were able to save the main structure of the house.

There were no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office.

I am so glad that no one was hurt, years ago my son dated a girl that lived there, I dont think they live there now, but and my husband said he remembers when it was built. Yes and thanks to the Fire Department ! Was it Ensley? My Nieces husband is a Fireman there. It is such a dangerous job.

We quit parking in our garage after apx 5to 10 min after husband parked in front of the garage there was a loud explosion I rushed to look out the window & flames were higher than the house. If it had been in the garage we would have lost our house. My husband emptied 5 fire ext on it & had it almost out before fire dept. arrival & they were speedy.
