    This was my Daddy. He was the best father any daughter could pray for. Thank you to all who were willing to help and pray for him. Eleven long days later, he passed as I was holding his precious hand. Today marks two years. Oh how I miss his smiling face. I love you more than words Daddy! God gave me the best when he gave me you!

    As Debbie stated. When a traffic light is not working, state law says to use it as a 4 way stop. If that law had been followed then the crash would not have happened. Praying for all involved.

    As Debbie mentioned below, the traffic light was not working and traffic was backed up on Hwy. 29 headed south starting at 7:10 from Detroit to the Nine Mile Bridge. I could not believe, when I finally reached the intersection of Detroit and Hwy. 29 shortly before the accident, that there was not some type of law enforcement directing traffic at the intersection. One would assume the light had not been working for quite some time. Prayers for the injured individuals involved.

    @Debbie
    I pray that you will make your statement to the authorities. All information needs to be considered. Thanks for speaking up.

    I passed this wreck shortly after it happened. The light was not working when I passed. There for the light should of been treated as a 4 way stop. It appears to me that somebody was going awful fast for just to have stopped. The repair people for the light made it before the ambulance. I noticed they had it working for the picture. We don’t have all the facts but I think it unfair to call someone an idiot, regard less. Becky, I will pray for your uncle!!

    There was a person seriously injured, can’t believe people are calling him idiot, you don’t know the details and the person that was hit happens to be my Uncle, who at this moment is fighting for his life.

    Thanks to Escambia North for the coverage of the multiple wrecks/accidents that other
    media find unimportant or newsworthy.

    With that being said…take your time, be careful, drive defensively especially on 9 Mile
    Road, US 29, but double caution on SR 97 & 97 A.

    Afterthought: An idiot driving a vehicle, is still an idiot! Be Safe!!!!!
