Remembering 9/11: Commemoration Held At Northview High

September 12, 2015

The North Escambia area stopped Friday to mark the 14th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

At Friday night’s Gulf Breeze at Northview High School football game in Bratt, a special Patriot Day observation was presented by the Northview NJROTC. As a hush fell over the stadium, the NJROTC presented the colors and a presentation marked the attacks on the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and the crash of Flight 93 in a Pennsylvania field.  A bell rang out in honor of those that perished.

A special thank you to Captain Code, Chief Simpkins, and Northview’s NJROTC unit for such an inspirational program.
