One Killed In Atmore Wreck

One person was killed in a predawn accident just east of Atmore Wednesday.
According to Alabama State Troopers, 45-year old Randell Luther Brooks of Loxley was pronounced deceased on the scene of the 5:44 a.m. crash on Highway 31 near Unity Baptist Church. Troopers said the 2002 Ford Escape driven by Brooks collided with a 1995 GMC Sierra driven by 35-year old Wesley Garland Erickson of Atmore.
Brooks was not wearing a seat belt, according to troopers. Erickson was transported to Atmore Community Hospital. His condition was not available.
The accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers. Further details have not been released.

For the ones that do not know I’m the wife of the late Randy Brooks ..its been 1 long year since this tragedy happened. Its been one struggle after another.
My life is forever changed, the day Randy was called home to be an ANGEL in Heaven ,my heart and soul was torn apart it left me with a pain and emptiness that I can’t describe …today its still burns inside of me, as I walk alone in this thing called life ,I love and miss him even more today than I ever have. Until iwe are together again I will be loving and missing to you always Randy…thanks to all of our friends and families, I will be forever in halls debt..

Yes, I am the wife of Rasmall Brooks. I have to make a comment, I am here to tell you he had seatbelt on never left house without it on, my father went by and saw what little bit that was left, he saw where whoever CUT HIS SEATBELT OFF.I HAVE PROOF.THEY HAD TO GET TO HIM SO IT WAS CUT OFF IN ORDERED TO GET TO HIM. SICK OF HEARING NO SEATBELT!!!! He was the first to have one on reminded all that ride with him seatbelts was worn…….,,.THIS MAN WAS MY LIFE MARRIED 15 years and all our history, pushing more than 25years. He was my best friend, my husband , my lover, my soulmate, he will be in my head forever and alwaysmissing and LOVing you DANDYBROOKS

I saw this wreck this morning on my way to work it happened few minutes before I got there Wesley works at the same place I do been praying for both families,
