Escambia Man Gets Life For Killing His Wife

An Escambia County man is headed to prison for killing his wife.

Circuit Judge Linda Nobles immediately handed down a a mandatory sentence of life in prison for Antoine Tyshawn Banks after his conviction on a first degree premeditated murder charge.

Banks shot 29-year old Alexis Monique Banks in the head March  7, 2014,  at their home on McKinley Drive, just off Mobile Highway near the Osceola Golf Course. Banks was arrested by Biloxi Police at a casino with a confession in his pocket.
