Cantonment Woman Gets 15 Years On Meth Charges

September 4, 2015

A Cantonment woman has been sentenced to 15 years in state prison for a active meth lab in her camper trailer.

Vanesa Sharp was convicted of trafficking in methamphetamine greater than 200 grams, unlawful possession of listed chemical anhydrous ammonia, unlawful possession of listed chemical pseudoephedrine, possession of controlled substance methamphetamine, possession of marijuana less than 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

One March 22, 2014, Escambia County deputies responded to a narcotics complaint at 1400 Becks Lake Road in Cantonment. When Sharp answered the door of the camper trailer, deputies were met with a strange chemical odor.

During their encounter with Sharp, they observed a small amount of methamphetamine in Sharp’s purse.
Deputies discovered items in the camper trailer used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Deputies entered the camper trailer and confirmed there were no other occupants. Once a search warrant was obtained, narcotics investigators searched the trailer and found the following baggies containing methamphetamine, two plastic baggies containing marijuana, pseudoephedrine, coffee grinder and funnels both with pseudoephedrine residue, pipes, and an active one pot meth lab.

The meth  oil inside the one pot tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed about 360 grams.

The one pot and other items were disposed of by a hazmat team.

positive thoughts, positive thoughts, positive thoughts, yep our positive thoughts are making it all hunky dory. Nobody needs to suffer for her misguided actions. Positive thoughts, positive thoughts, positive thoughts. Why should negative actions have negative consequences?

Happy, Happy. That’s one off the street. I hope she gets 25 to life. There’s no telling how many families she has ruined, by selling or making meth. Drugs destroy peoples lives and everyone around them. I don’t feel sorry for her at all. I feel sorry for the families that she help to destroy (including her own), buy making this drug available to anyone with money. She didn’t care who she sold to , which is someone’s child, brother, sister, mother, father etc. by getting them addicted. So why should we care if she goes to prison?

People need to respect the fact that she has children that it kills to see their mom like this. Keep your negative comments to yourself. Yes she messed up, but she has family that are now suffering from her mistakes. No need to say comments such as “glad to see her go” or so on. Have some respect.

Yay !! Glad to see her go ! Everybody needs to take s good luck at her ! Meth makes you look HORRIBLE ! I have a family member that was on meth ( ice ) and it has ruined their life. They have lost it all. Their home , their kids , their good looks … Much more as well !! Makes no sense to me as to why people would do meth ! Do people realize what the heck is in that stuff ? I’ve heard that there is battery acid in that mess ! Really ? People who do meth are just plain DUMB AND STUPID ! Meth kills !

So sad to see this but some people never learn and some have to learn the hard way. I feel bad for her kids. The luck always runs out…the rest of her family needs to take note. 15 years is a LONG time.
