Tony Langford

Tony Langford was born June 22, 1961, in Pensacola and passed on to his Heavenly home July 29, 2015. He was an iron worker by trade and a hunter and fisherman at heart. A loving husband and faithful friend he always had a ready smile for all. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard “Dicky” and Ann Langford.

He is survived by his wife, Luanne Langford; his sisters, Terri (Terry) Thompson, Tammi (Anthony) Mattheiss; his parents-in-law, Glen and Audrey Swicegood; two brothers-in-law, Brian (Debbie) Swicegood and John (Tina) Swicegood; cousins, Vicki (Keith) Traylor, Lisa (Kelly) Blevins; seven nieces and nephews; and seven great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August,  3 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with burial following in Highland Baptist Church Cemetery.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home North is in charge of arrangements.

    Tony was adear friend,Ihad the pleasure of knowing Tony for m any years in fact when Tony decided to become an iron worker, I had the pleasure of being teamed withTony that was the begining of a log road of jobs together,Tony rapedly became a top hand and a special friend. Later on in life after I had to leave the ranks ofironworker, suffered a stroke, and you guessed it Tony was there tohelp me any time I needed it, most of all he helped me get my 69 chevelle indriving condition.It did notmatter thereason Tony was there to help.
