Police Find Stolen Weapons, Drugs During Traffic Stop

The Flomaton Police Department arrested a Mississippi man on drug and weapons charges following a traffic stop.

Rodney Corey Dunigan, age 45 of Amory Mississippi was pulled over by a Flomaton Police Officer early Sunday morning. Police said Dunigan was found in possession of three firearms – two which were stolen, methamphetamine, marijuana, diazepam and drug paraphernalia.

Dunigan was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, two counts receiving stolen property second degreen, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Escambia County (AL) Detention Center in Brewton where he remained in custody.
