As a Florida native, I can button down and prepare with the best. My only problem is neighbors who must be transient or renters, failing to prune their trees. Trees falling on my out-buildings and my house in Erin, Opel, and Ivan, have caused around $7,000 out of pocket to me, and much more to my insurance company. As most know, a healthy tree falling from an adjoining property, and causing damage is my problem. Why do I feel like a tree magnet? Quoting Sweet Brown, “ain’t nobody got time for this.”

It’s still a longs ways off, but keep your eyes open, people.
Prep now (if you haven’t already) and don’t get stupid if you don’t prep.
