Deputies Seek Missing, Endangered Santa Rosa County Woman

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for a 48-year old woman that is missing and considered endangered.

Lisa Jacobs Thornton was last seen by her family at about 11 p.m. on August 1. Family members she left her cell phone, purse, medications and other personal items behind when she left her Navarre home. She is believed to have left the residence in a silver BMW that was later found abandoned on the side of I-10. There were no signs of foul play.

Deputies said Thornton is in need of her medications, and it is believed she left home with a weapon.
