Traffic: Pavement Testing On Highway 90 At Beulah Road

Drivers may encounter lane closures on U.S. 90 (Mobile Highway) at the intersection of County Road 99 (Beulah Road) in Escambia County Thursday, July 16. Lane restrictions will be in effect from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. as crews perform pavement testing. Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone.
Planned activities are weather dependent and may be re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

So I wonder if the public comments were ignored and the state is proceeding with their roundabout plans for that intersection anyways?
