One Injured In Bratt Rollover Crash

One person was injured in a single vehicle accident near Bratt early Saturday evening.

The accident was reported about 6 p.m. on North Highway 99 just south of Breastworks Road. Driver Wendy D. Waller of Century lost control of her 2003 Honda Element after rounding two sharp curves, left the roadway and overturned multiple times into a fence. Waller was transported by Escambia County EMS to an area hospital with injuries that were considered minor.

The accident remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. Charges against Waller are pending, according to FHP.

The Walnut Hill Station of Escambia Fire Rescue and the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the crash.

    Poor ole Mr. Mooney can’t keep a fence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s about the 4th or 5th since we’ve moved here that it has been torn down by vehicles who refuse to slow down on
    winding roads!!!!!!!
