I watch people sit on a side street and wait – then when you are to close to them – boom they pull out!! It’s as if since it took a while for me to get there they feel they still have time. It just amazes me – Walmart is unbelievable on the hwy 29 entrance – the south bound pulls out and across and visa versa – good grief!
BD, you must be lucky, because, personally, we have had people to pull right out in front of us there, by Gods grace, we haven’t actually hit anyone or been hit in the rear due to us having to slam on brakes to keep from hitting the person who decided to shoot across, yes, even though, we have been cautious, I guess people think it is a 4 way stop. NOT people, you put your family & mine in harms way every time you think it’s funny to go straight across without stopping, especially when it’s raining, so yes BD it is dangerous.
All intersections are potentially dangerous. Where it becomes a reality is the decisions made by drivers.
they’re ALL dangerous if you don’t pay attention to what’s around you. Been driving that intersection for decades and never had an issue. Huh, what am “I” doing wrong? Oh, not texting, not on the phone AND I pay attention to other cars and instead of pulling out in front of a car coming at me at 60+mph while I’m hardly moving…. I wait a sec to let them by, then I do this really NEW thing that just appeared from nowhere…….. I accelerate and MERGE!!! What a cool concept!!
This is also a very dangerous intersection.
