Milton Darrell Criswell

July 6, 2015

Milton Criswell, 71, of Molino, passed away on July 3, 2015. Milton was born in McCullough, AL to the late James and Jessie Criswell on September 14, 1943. He made construction his life’s work and earned the respect of all colleagues along the way. He loved spending his time working alongside Carlyn, his wife and best friend of 24 years, on countless projects around their cherished home. He was not only a wonderful husband, but also a great father and friend to all he met. The void he leaves behind is one that simply can never be filled, yet we are so immensely grateful for the beautiful years that God allowed us to have with him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Candace Moyers.

Milton is survived by his wife, Carlyn; three children, Brice Criswell, Sunday Flowers, and Karen Smith. He is also survived and loved by the two sons he didn’t have to raise, but lovingly chose to, Joseph and Scott Coe. In addition, he leaves behind his two brothers and their wives, Billy and Janie Criswell and Gary and Tammie Criswell; his grandchildren; his great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. We also can’t omit Maggie, the faithful dog that never left his side.

We are forever grateful for Milton Criswell’s life, as well as for the outpouring of love and support from so many family members and friends.
