Blues Dazzle Huge Crowds (With Photo Gallery)
July 12, 2015
Perhaps the largest crowd ever packed onto Pensacola Beach Saturday for the annual Pensacola Beach Air Show featuring the Blue Angels. Official attendance numbers were not available by Sunday morning, but officials said people were arriving on the beach by the hundreds, and by the thousands, by daylight Saturday. The main parking lot at Casino Beach was full by 6:30 a.m., according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

We had been on vacation in Orlando and driving homewhen we decided to stop at Pensacola beach for a bit to show our kids the beautiful gulf coast beach- having no idea the Blue Angels were performing that day!
What an awesome sight to see them from the beach!!
The drive into and out of the beach was CRAZY!
We wont be back in time to see them in our home state of Oregon next week so THANK YOU for a fun up close show!
Steve – I hate to say this, but if the “Girls” did not allow the “Young Men” to be that way, they would have to change or not get any dates. If the Young Girls would simply say…You are a Jerk, and walk away, the Young Men would be forced to change their ways…
Please follow up with the crowd totals — that will be interesting. Thanks.
I will always love the Blue Angles and what they stand for but this was my last show at Pensacola Beach. As a father I can not subject my family to all the alcohol and disrespectful language all around. We had to move from one group because the F bomb was every other word at 8 in the morning. After asking them to tone it down their answer was , its going to get worse. We Moved to anther location. The group behind us was the same way. By the time the show started they had several piles of beer can all over there sit and no respect for anyone. The beach must have been trashed!!
I feel sorry for the Girls today and how they are treated with so much disrespect by the “TODAYS YOUNG MEN ” When did it become okay to be this way?
The Blue Angels are a cherished tradition for all of us. they not only thrill, but hopefully inspire young people to pursue their dreams and life goals. Thank you Blues, you are indeed a cut above…
