At about 9:45 a.m., deputies were notified of a robbery in progress at the Wells Fargo bank on Fairfield Drive. Deputies said Rodney Dale Jones, 48, approached the counter, throwing down a note that said “Robbery, have a gun on you, all 20 quiet”.

    REGARDING THE IDEA:
“he needs relief from the heat, hunger, drugs and being homeless and what better way to get it than to commit a crime and get all the free stuff while locked up”

HEAT: Go to the public library to get out of the heat or sit in a nice creek or branch or the bay or under a tree..
HUNGER: Go dumpster diving to find foot or beg food beside the road or go to a soup kitchen or get a job and buy his own food.
DRUGS: Avoid them or get off them.
HOMELESSNESS: Get relatives to take him. Get some foolish woman to put him up. Go to a homeless shelter. Get a job and earn enough to pay for a place to live.

    Another alternative:
Pretend to be crazy, if he can pull it off somehow and talk vaguely about killing everybody around him. That is another good way to get all of the above.

DON’T rob banks, threaten tellers, risk getting people killed for any of the benefits listed above. Even if unarmed, the claim to be armed might get lead flying and people shot and killed.

    David for unthreatened workers
    and fixing crazy

This sounds as if he needs relief from the heat, hunger, drugs and being homeless and what better way to get it than to commit a crime and get all the free stuff while locked up at the GRAY GHOST or the CROSS BAR MOTEL–what do they say–3 hots and a cot–well not totally true because unless it has changed their lunch is 2 cold sandwiches not worth eating. His stay will cost the taxpayers but at least he will not be a menace to society attempting robberies and making threats for a long time. He is most likely to get FED time and get sent to one of the facilities referred to as COUNTRY CLUBS.
