Suspicious Infant Death Under Investigation

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an infant death.

At about 12:45 Friday afternoon, deputies responded to the 300 block of a Teakwood Circle in reference to the death of an infant under suspicious circumstances. The ECSO said the investigation is ongoing and further information will be released upon completion of the medical examiner’s report and consultation with the State Attorney’s Office on applicable charges, if any.
