Sheriff’s Office Clean Sweep Today In Cottage Hill

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a Clean Sweep in the Cottage Hill area this morning.
The Clean Sweep will begin at the Cottage Hill Baptist Church at 230 Williams Ditch Road and concentrate on the area east of Highway 95, McKenzie Road, Williams Ditch Road and Eden Lane.
The focus of “Operation Clean Sweep” is to work with Neighborhood Watch groups, residents, churches and business owners to control and prevent the damaging effects of criminal activity, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Well, my house was missed on the clean sweep. I set all my trash out that I wanted to have hauled off, & it’s still sitting there this afternoon. Does anyone have an explanation for this?
I love the idea of cleaning up areas in Escambia County. I’ve lived in Cantonment all my life and it’s no where it use to be. Why not hit brownsville, Montclair, & Mayfair!! Why not hit the heavy areas where the drugs are coming out of. Js
LOL – announcing to the criminals you are coming! Like telling the chickens the fox is coming to raid their henhouse!!!
What’s the point of announcing it and letting wrongdoers avoid the area? shouldn’t
they wait till AFTER to announce it and the results?
I’m sure any criminals will stand in place, and wait for you to come and get them, especially when you advertise where you are going to be, what time, location, etc. etc. sounds like a winning plan!!!
