Second Man Charged With Delivery Thefts
May 11, 2015
A second man has been arrested for stealing packages from doorsteps after they were dropped off by a delivery man, and for the theft of multiple utility trailers.
Paul Anthony Brown, 50, is facing more than two dozen burglary and theft related charges. According to multiple arrest reports, Brown would steal recently delivered packages from homes in the north Pensacola and Cantonment areas. The packages, in total, contained thousands of dollars of merchandise, including hundreds of key chains, a baby stroller, prescription medication, Lysol cleaner, toilet paper, a baby gate, cat food, wedding photos and Depends undergarments.
Several of the alleged thefts were caught on residents’ surveillance video.
He is also accused of stealing three utility trailers, including one that was loaded with $250 in worth of pool chemicals. Brown remains in the Escambia Count Jail with bond set at $141,500.
Suspected accomplice John Clifford Wilson IV, 41, was arrested last month in connection with the package thefts and remains in the Escambia County Jail with bond set at $493,500.
Escambia County Sheriff’s Office investigators obtained surveillance video from two of these thefts that showed a dark blue SUV pulling up to the residence and two males removing packages that was posted on social media. Another citizen recognized the vehicle driving through his neighborhood, captured the vehicle on video and wrote down the tag number before contacting deputies.

Paul was married to s friend of mine and seemed to be s great guy !! It’s so sad to see this about him. Hopefully this will teach him to take the right path in the future. He even worked fur our company for a while and was an awesome employee !! Get it together Paul !!
I’m gonna bite my toung for what I want to call this 1. Did they find a size 8 pair of shoes from Cabela’s in his loot ?
My neighbors and I watched, on their camera surveillance, these two thieves drive just past my driveway and then back up. The passenger got out of the SUV, casually walked up to my front door, picked up my package, and returned to the SUV. Officer A. Smith investigated and was given the video the next day.
What astonishes me about these bottom-dwellers is that they would rather live in prison, making zero, than get an honest job to support themselves like the rest of us.
My neighborhood was flooded last April. Many have been slowly putting their lives back together, spending what little is left to replace heavy losses. Beware of the snakes that are out their waiting to prey on us. We are watching you on camera.
Where are the trailers? I would like mine back, including the AC equipment!!!
aren`t you two a little old to be doing this kind of stuff..?..I hope you aren’t stupid enough to steal from your fellow inmates,,they have a different type of justice,,but then again, maybe you need to find that out,,,,
Wilson and Brown – Great that you got caught. How nutty can you be, with cameras on houses. I have a few on mine, but I never saw your vehicle pass in front of my house. I was watching. It would feel so good to be the one that called in on you.
REGARDING:
“ “Nothing lower”? You forgot pedophiles, rapists, & murderers, for starters.”
Not necessarily.
Pedophiles, rapists, & murderers ARE thieves.
They just steal different things.
David for unstolen childhoods and lives
This is why Amazon delivery drones should fly armed.
Well, maybe not but…..
It IS tempting.
David for better people
That’s where my lost packages have gone!

Was Mr. Brown caught for pilfering from Mr. Brown (UPS)?

So glad these guys were caught. And yes, Paul you are absolutely correct, there is nothing lower than a thief.
You can’t get much lower than a thief..
