First Molino Crawfish Festival Held (With Photo Gallery)
May 31, 2015
The first Molino Crawfish Festival was held Saturday. The family-oriented event included live, music games, bounce houses, and other food items — including burgers, fries and hot dogs and watermelon. And there were plenty of crawfish — over 1,500 pounds of crawfish.
Proceeds benefited the Molino Historical Society and area churches.

Good crawfish. Great family atmosphere. Music was great. Enjoyed it. Looking forward to the one next year.
Van Deese is the most amazing person I know. He will go so far out of his way to help anyone at anytime. Parker is smiling all the way down to us and loving his daddy.
May God continue to Bless you Van….
Thanks for the photo coverage Michael Pevahouse and Ramona Prestion for those of us who could not attend.
Hope it was successful enough to have one next year!
Didn’t know about this. :/ Will have to mark it on my calendar for next years 2nd Annual Molino Crawfish Festival. My husband would have loved to chow down on some crawfish!
We had a good time. Crawfish were great. Gotta love mudbugs. Cant wait for next year, hopefully our community will help grow this function. Our little town needs something like this to bring our families together more often and draw people up from the city to enjoy our country way of life. Also spend money with our local people. thank you to all of the folks that helped put it together. Maybe we can get a festival put together for the fall too.
Great food, friends & fellowship. Our group had a wonderful time. Weather wasn’t quite as HOT as the CRAWFISH. Thanks to Van Deese for getting this 1st annual event kicked off. Looking forward to next year…
Looks like a great time. Good friends, good weather, good music and great food. Wish I’d heard about it. I’d have been there.
Wonderful time, thank you for setting this up. Food was fantastic and so was the music.
