Escambia Woman Arrested For Bomb Threat To Navy Recruiter
May 7, 2015
An Escambia County woman was arrested after making a bomb threat to a Navy recruiter.
First Class Petty Officer Charles Brockett told the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office that he received a phone call from a woman later identified as Priscilla Bembow that he received a call at the Navy Recruiting Office on Navy Boulevard. He stated that she asked if she had reached the government, and he replied yes. She then told him there was a bomb in an undisclosed location, and that her name was “Patricia Lee” and that she was located at the Raceway on Highway 29. Brockett called 911 and notified his supervisors.
Deputies responded to the Raceway and found Bembow, who admitted to making the bomb threat.
She was charged with a felony count for the making the bomb threat and remains in the Escambia County Jail with bond set at $5,000.

Sage 2, you clearly do not understand what a Darwin Award is…
Another winner of the Darwin Award!
On another point, maybe she was tired of Escambia Co., saw a recruiting poster and decided to join the U S Navy and see the world. :-0)
@ BPD Yes she did, and in a gated community no less.
Was there a crew from Dumbest Criminals on scene? Could be a winner
I bet they find this one a signal 31(crazy). At least she saved the deputies the time of searching for her.
Talking about Dumb Crook News!!!
Is she: (a)- a crackhead (b)- mental (c)- looking for 3 meals and a cot or (d)- all the above?
She was looking for room and board and got it.
She just needed a safe place to stay with a cot and three meals.Taxi service included.
She might be homeless and mentally ill, but knows how to get government “assistance” instantly when needed.
Waydaminutenow, ain’t ya NOT supposed to give out yer location when ya make a bomb threat?
Bembow? Is that a real name? Could you imagine growing up with THAT!?!
