Palm Print Leads To Vehicle Burglary Arrest
April 7, 2015
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says a palm print led to the arrest of a Cantonment man for vehicle burglary.
Justin Scott Martin, 21, was charged with felony burglary of a vehicle and petit theft. He was booked into the Escambia County Jail and remained there Tuesday morning with bond set at $35,000.
According to an arrest report, Martin burglarized two vehicles on Memphis Avenue, stealing cellular phone chargers and Gatorade worth a total of $55. Deputies said a part of the crime was caught on video.
A palm print left behind on the vehicle positively matched Martin, according to investigators.

Great use of resources. Focusing on property crime will increase the quality of life for everyone. I agree with David 100%
Thank you ECSD.
You people should be more considerate and compassionate. After all, those tattoos are expensive….how’s a fella going to pay for being different? Just look around, “everybody else” is getting inked.
CONSIDERING:
“Petty as it is, these guys need to spend some time behind bars.”
Or underground.
Every thief steals pieces of peoples’ lives, the time they took to earn the money to buy what was stolen or vandalized
David for better people, left alone
These small-time thieves are just plain aggravating. I had my car burgalized last year. All they got was some winning scratch-offs valued at 65.00. But my glove box and my cubbies in my car were ransacked. My car, sitting in my drive-way. They went through the entire neighborhood going through all cars. Once neighbor even had a utility trailer stolen out of the driveway. Petty as it is, these guys need to spend some time behind bars. I am so tired of lazy, ppl who would rather steal than get a job.
