she hit a big yellow bus and then ran? Why’d she run? No DUI/driving while impaired or no proof of insurance/registration tickets? People don’t usually do hit and runs. Well most people…

What judge in Escambia County values the situation at low-risk of $250 bond? Thank GOD no injuries to the driver or students!

Seem to be some confusion between bail and a fine. Bail is not the punishment, it is not meant to teach someone a lesson. Bail is a deposit to insure people show up in court, and can vary a lot. It backs a promise to appear. If you show up in court it is returned to you. (or the bail bondsman if you use one) The fine is what happens IN court, and you don’t get it back!

Unreal. She hit a school bus with 12. Students on it, and got a 250. Bond what. The heck, she needs to be taught a lesson , I can’t understand.

Hey people, school buses are now equiped with cameras, inside and out. Also, twelve students onboard, and I bet at least ten of them had cell phones with cameras. Hit the bus, oops sorry. Leave the scene? Stupid stupid stupid.

So glad no one was hurt, but she deserves more than a 250 dollar fine. She could have hurt YOUR kid.

$250 for hit & run? Thank God there were no injuries but she would not of cared if there had been and keep in mind this was a “SCHOOL BUS” she hit and then hauled britches not even caring kids were on the bus. Just another example of a fine citizen right there. SMH
