THIS IS THE LAST PLACE I CAN COMMUNICATE ON OR SEND A MESSAGE. My mother died in Jan. and gave me her house. She had asked me many times if PENNY would live in the house and I assured her she would. PENNY was really into the move enough to measure the windows and ordered curtains for them and they came in after her death. It is hard to grasp that she is not coming back home but there is assurance if there is a heaven she will lay at rest here awaiting for the second coming of JESUS’ arrival when I’m called home as well but until then I will live each day in sorrow. She is gone and I will honor her in my daily activity trying to endure the hardship I’m going through along with our children and the grand children. She touched numerous lives young and old through her contacts and teaching in local schools and church. She planned on working for about 5 more years so we could retire and live out our lives together.in ALABAMA. I thought about giving up on everything but decided I would continue to prepare the house much to her specifications and move in early JUNE. After her burial WEDNESDAY our beloved puppy got ran over and killed adding more grief to my life making me want to go meet her but I found peace and consolation in it all thinking PENNY called for her baby to come to her and now she is as close to her in physical being as I could make it. Thanks to all–family, friends and associates for honoring her by attending the services, your cards and contributions in my time of need. THANKS
Robert, we have moved to Ala. and did not know until today. We are so sorry for your loss. I pray that God will comfort and keep you under his wings. I won’t lie and tell you that time heals all wounds it doesn’t. We get used to the pain and it only seems to lessen. If we can do anything to help feel free to contact us.
Take care and God bless,
Tricky and Violet Bozeman
Sorry for your loss Mr. Nellums. I did not know her but, it sounds like she was a good lady.
TO ALL THAT WISH TO ATTEND THE SERVICES; her favorite color was purple so in an effort if you have some clothing attire close to her color I ask if you could work it into your attire to do so to make a sea of purple. The loss is so hard on me as well as our children and others associated with her teaching through school and church and writing this is even harder but I just thought I would get this out to the people that cared about her as a tribute to her. PENNY had me in mind when she chose the plots at PENSACOLA MEMORIAL GARDENS in 1994 as close to the race track as possible and didn’t know until MISTY told me SUNDAY. Still thanks to all that expressed their sympathy in the tragedy. There will be food provided at my home at 605 NEAL ROAD in CANTONMENT after the services are completed. Many years ago when MELISSA’S son JOSHUA was still just a child PENNY told me he was going to be a preacher of the gospel and he actually got his license to do so the same day PENNY lost her life. She might have knew it was coming but she never will witness the event here on earth but I’m confident she will when they all are taken up to be in the presence of the lord where they will walk the streets of gold. THANKS to all that wrote all the nice things about PENNY and the ones that reached out to contribute for this in my time of need. THANKS ROBERT.
