One Response to “Neal Warren Gafford”
I remember Neal when we were boys growing up in Cottage Hill. The summers and winters building tree houses, shooting squirrels and dove, jumping from the hayloft into the corn crib of his family’s barn. I remember when Neal decided to attend machinist school at George Stone vocational, and after high school our paths diverged, Neal beginning a career as a machinist and military service for myself. I have not seen Neal in many years, but his legacy is that of a life well lived. I am happy for him that he was able to achieve so very much, a wonderful family and a successful business. It is sad that Neal’s life was cut short, but that sadness is lessened by the fact of his life and accomplishments. I know he will be there waiting in heaven, when the rest of us are along in a little while. Neal was blessed with a loving and caring family, watch over and comfort them in this time Lord. Amen.
