I would really hope everyone who lives in our neighborhood would welcome maintenance on the tracks as well as the regular maintenance at the mill. We chose to buy a house near tracks and a stinkmill, so we have to put up with it. Me personally, i’ll find something to do until 6pm, i’d rather not rush them, we don’t need a derailment and rupture from cars that come from whatever goes on at ascend!

I will not be planning accordingly… I have a job that I have to go to at 12:30. Is csx planning to compensate me for my lost wages or any inconvenice that I have to go through and leave my house before the railroad is closed forcing myself to be away from my home until I get off work at 9pm..? Are they going to cover the cost of any damages to my vehicle? Unattended vehicles parked on a highway get vandalized, broken into and even stolen. What about my animals? That is cruel to them to be without potty breaks for 12 hours since I would have to leave before 9 am and wouldn’t get off work until12:30 pm. What about eemergency situations where someone needs to seek medical attention or the police/fire dept need to get into the neighborhood? What about my mother who cannot physically climb those rocky trenches if she did leave a car on the other side? This sounds like a huge liability for csx.

Definately not leaving my vehicle sitting out on the highway looks like even the little trail to country lane is going to be out as well this is crazy someone really needs to think about this we cant not be held hostage in our neighborhood

Yes it’s inconvenient, and no they are not doing it at night. If you plan on getting home from work before 6 those two days you should change your plans. Wonder what the kids on the busses are supposed to do?

Most of these roads have more than one way to get to their home. Backs Lake Road has the one entry. Which means no way to get home or to work, according to CSX they say to put a car on both sides of the tracks. I am sure they won’t protect the cars when they are out by 29. No fire protection for homes or emergency medical service for the families. I look forward to hearing what my commissioner has to say. This doesn’t seem well planed.

So what are we to do since there is only one entrance and exit for Woodbury residents seems to me this is going to be a problem …..hopefully they do this work late at night

Thank you NE for reporting the schedule! This allows us to plan accordingly.
