James Coleman Fuqua

Mr. James Coleman Fuqua, age 18 of Barrentine Road, Brewton, passed away Saturday night February 21, 2015, in Pensacola after injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a native and lifelong resident of Brewton. Mr. Fuqua was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church, he attended W.S. Neal School before enrolling at Escambia Academy where he played football and was on the weightlifting team. He was a member of the graduating class of 2015.

He is survived by his mother Jean Joyner Fuqua of Brewton; aunt Sara Owens of Phenix City, AL; cousins Cody Owens, Heath Owens, and Shannon Odom; special fiends Todd White, Kriss White, Cade White, Will Hendrix, Blaklee Hendrix, Coach Hugh Fountain; many friends and classmates.

He was preceded in death by his fatherĀ  James Earl “Fuzz” Fuqua and his grandparents Coleman and Ethel Fuqua.

Visitation will be held Wednesday night February 25, 2015. from 6-8 p.m. at William Memorial Chapel in Brewton.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday afternoon February 26, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at William Memorial Chapel in Brewton with Rev. John Kemp officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Brewton.

    I attended the funeral this afternoon and coach Fountain did a great job on telling good things in James life. The others did agreat job also. THANKS
