This is so wonderful to see there are so many in area nursing homes that are put in there by their children and then forgotten because nobody wants to take the time to visit with them because they are old, just remember you will be old one day and your children see how you treat your parents when they are old and that’s how they will treat you cause they do as they see you do.

Honest John – You are so right. And I total agree with you that most of us have a mission field right in our own neighborhood. If you can’t go thousands of miles away to be a blessing, be one right where you are. You may not know your neighbor, but neither do you know the people you meet thousands of miles away. Thanks for making me more aware of this.

That was a great idea. Maybe they can do it on a regular basis.

So nice to see some good news. I know those children brighten up the day for those residents. You don’t always have to go thousands of miles to do a mission trip.Thank you Highland Baptist Church for thinking of others.
