Winford George Johnson

Mr. Winford George Johnson, age 76 of Flomaton, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Century Health and Rehabilitation Center in Century.
Mr. Johnson was born in Flomaton and had lived there the last 12 years coming from Danville, VA. During his working years, he worked for Goodyear. Mr. Johnson was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Little Escambia Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hillary and Lucinda Johnson; his wife, Marilyn Jeanne Johnson, their daughter, Melinda Gafford; two sisters and one brother.
Survivors include his grandson, Dane Belton of Decatur, IL; several nieces and special friends.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Poplar Dell Cemetery with Rev. Doug Hogg officiating.
