I pray he makes a full recovery, I think sometimes the speed has a lot to do with it, I have watched some motorcycle riders flying down 29 by the mill darting in and out of traffic. Please be careful and slow down!!!!!

I wonder what could have distracted him so that he could not see a log truck? Just guessing but I imagine that speed may have had something to do with this. Also did the log truck pull out onto Hwy. 29? I pray that the guy will be ok.

A semi with logs can weigh 80,000 lbs and when a bike that weigh less than 900 lbs hit the back end it’s like a bug on the windshield the trucks ride rough as well and you also have 40 + feet to take the impact. Prayer for everyone involved

Motorcyclists can be just as bad of drivers as anyone else.
    Hope this one is okay.

    >>The log truck driver was unaware of hitting someone?

Reread the story. The motorcyclist hit the logs hanging off the back of the trailer. The log truck drive did not hit anyone.

Prayers! Those trucks are scary. I stay a mile back from them down Quintette Rd. I see more and more of them everyday. Motorcycle riders need to be extra cautious too.
