Mary Agnes Edgar, 92, was called home to be with Jesus on Friday, January 23, 2015, after a brief illness. Agnes was born July 11, 1922, in Chipley to her loving parents Tillman and Mae Peters. Agnes married the love of her life , Charles H. Edgar Sr., September 9, 1939. They were blessed with four children, 10 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Agnes was a long time member of the Pensacola Worship Center Church of God where she was a mentor to all. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Agnes leaves behind a strong legacy of faith and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; sister, Merle and brothers, Bronzel, Mizel, and James. She leaves behind her children, Charles H. Edgar Jr. (Opal), Anna Grellia (Harry), Henry Edgar (Marian), and Cindy Till (Greg); sisters-in-law, Catherine Edgar and Jo Peters, and brother-in-law, Al Day.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Chuck Edgar, Gordie Grellia, Joe Edgar, Tim Edgar, Jason Edgar, Randy Edgar, Nikki Hoffay, Chad Edgar, Brandon Edgar, and Sean Till.

Visitation will be Monday, January 26, 201,5 from 5 to 7 p.m.  at Faith Chapel South, 100 Beverly Parkway. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 27 at 11 a.m. at Pensacola Worship Center Church of God at 5715 North W Street in Pensacola with Reverend Sherrill Isbell officiating. Interment to follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens, 7433 Pine Forest Road in Pensacola. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Mary Agnes Edgar to Covenant Hospice or the Pensacola Worship Center.
