Jane C. Godwin

Mrs. Jane C. Godwin was born on May 20, 1932, the third of four daughters, born to Dennis and Mildred Cox in Milledgeville, GA. She died peacefully at Covenant Hospice at West Florida Hospital on January 7, 2015. In 1952, she married Jacob McDonald Godwin Jr. and they had three daughters.
Mrs. Godwin is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years and her three sisters.
She is survived by her three daughters, Laura Smith of Cantonment, Becky McGhee of Tallahassee and Kelly Godwin of Pensacola; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. followed by services at 11 a.m. at Faith Chapel North in Cantonment.
No graveside services will be held.
