In addition, the article shows a photo of the Escambia County FLORIDA jail. I suppose this would be confusing if the Escambia County FL and AL jails looked exactly alike. When I read the article I read and understood Escambia County Florida.
William ALWAYS differentiates between the two. I have never questioned the location of anything reported to be regarding either of the Sheriff’s Departments. Good job, William!
I’m pretty sure last time I checked the building in the picture is not Escambia County AL jail! Its definitely the Esc Co jail in FL! Take it easy on William!
>>>Please keep in mind that there a two ( 2 ) Escambia counties in this area. Having said that, It would be nice to see the writer be sensitive to that fact and be a little more clear, when reporting…..
NorthEscambia.com’s coverage area is northern Escambia County, FL, which is always referred to just as “Escambia County”. In the event we are referring to Escambia County in Alabama, we specify “Escambia County (AL)”.
North Escambia refers to the north end of Escambia County, FL. If something occurs in Escambia County, AL, the writer always specifies such by adding “(AL)” after the county.
